Project C.A.N: Can Collect

This was the 4th time I'm in Kovan in the past 10 days. Ahrgg... and it's basically the number of times I'm there in my life!

After a very long day's sleep on Saturday (no more meetings, no Ma'at outings), I was able to wake at 6.30am to prepare for the 1.5 hour bus trip to Kovan. Met YC on the bus and we crap crap crap till Kovan. He's very hiong lor, watched WC then still come to drive van.

Many were late, but apparently they have provided a lot of buffer time. We even have the time for breakfast, drinks, while Xiqian entertained us at Kovan Hub. This was one of the reason I liked Project CAN, always OTOT, and nobody can control, just your integrity. :D

The organisation was very good. The mass briefing was very useful that was lacking last year. Then after the speeches, those working further from Kovan (ie. Hougang) were transported via chartered bus to the areas. So thoughtful! Don't need to walk like mad like last year and even get lost!

Thought we were rather slack once Lijie went off, leaving us in the hands of KM. But we still managed to finish combing the 4 blocks way before lunch, and continued working when it poured in the afternoon. The individual household contributions were little. But seeing people who actually prepared can food in the provided plastic bags brightened up our day! Now our time spent folding the bags was not wasted after all. :D

Me and chio-bu were psycho-ing people to have dinner in the west side. (This is definitely the first time, >1/2 of my clique lived in the west lor... Zin, Sin En, TC, Glenn) But somehow, we still lost. :( And have to be contented with PS dinner.

Went KM's house to mess it up. Yes, we terrorized his fishes, warmed his TV, hacked his PC, climbed onto his bed and ransacked his washroom. That's all. Then we took our time to meet Bryan and Zenov at PS.

Glenn & KM went to place bet on the last WC match. Let's pray they win, then we'll have treats!

But we went separate ways at PS to settle for dinner. I don't know la! Some people 饿到要发疯了 then there's still people who are dilly-dallying. Anyway, we managed to separate the pairs in Ma'at that night. Tan Ching - Ruixiang and Jenny - Joyce.

Have a 5-course meal for $15. And I'm full to the brim! Be surprised with the content of the 5-courses!

1st: Al Funghi linguine
2nd: Basil Chicken pizza
3rd: Tiramisu (I was offered, cos I'm not really into it...)
4th: KFC coleslaw & mashed potato
5th: Mac cone

Ha... Full.
