SG is not dense at all

After years of propaganda from Renjie, I truly believe him now, and did my own research. Myths to be overthrown:

Singapore is not densely populated.
Hong Kong is.

If my dear readers are not colour-blind, it is clear that only <20% of Singapore's 700km² land is green while only 20% of Hong Kong's 1100km² is NOT green. And as of 2007, the population of Hong Kong is 7-million and Singapore is 4.7-million.

Meaning?

This site on Wiki (population density) is super misleading! (Their discliamer: Note that figures are simply estimates of population divided by total surface area and should not be considered either as reflecting density in the urban sense or as indicative of the ability of a territory’s land to support human habitation.)

Singapore should not be placed in the league of Hong Kong in terms of urban density and infrastructure! There should be NO reason for traffic jams to occur if everybody can just take the public transport. And no one should use the excuse that land is limited in Singapore to force us to design small houses!
