Hmm, how should I do my movie review? In point form! Haha…
- “L Change the World” is totally not related to Deathnote except L and his 23 days due date.
- L is super cute and the 2 kids are very adorable.
- The plot / case is weaker than the original Deathnote and development is very hasty.
- There is obviously more budget for this spin-off because there is a lot of action and outdoor scenes.
- The gore is rather unbearable.
- There are discrepancies in the storyline.
- There are some really bad supporting actor / actress who spoilt the show.
- The best parts of the movie are from the comical L and his interaction with the kids.
- It is the first time we see L being helpless, babysitting the child. He wasted more than half of his 23 days doing just that.
- There is a reason behind L having a sweet-tooth.
- L is very tall, if he is not a hunchback.
- Watching L is sufficient for me to forget about the bad story.
- The script also explained from whom did Near inherited his obsession for robots and sugar cubes. Of course this has been edited with no reference to the anime.
