In this world, there exist 3 types of swindler. The most common is the shirosagi (white swindler) who cheats the innocent of their money. The akasagi (red swindlers) toys with people’s feelings. And the most powerful of the three, the black swindler, also known as kurosagi, is out to cheat the shirosagi and akasagi.

Kurosaki was 15 when he witnessed his father murdered his mother and sister, after being conned by a shirosagi. He decided to avenge for his family by becoming Kurosagi. He turned the tables on countless shirosagi and akasagi and returns the money they have obtained fraudulently to the victims.

He will never stop, until he can find the very man who destroyed his family.

But there is a pain-in-the-ass police officer who is hot on his heels, determined to arrest Kurosagi and put a stop to his seemingly-Robin-Hood but illegal actions. And the irritating tenant / neighbour / secret admirer Law student who is consistently invading his heart and teaching him to respect the law. Plus the mastermind behind all swindling cases (including the one that tainted Kurosagi) who is planning something more than what it seem on the surface. Whose side is he on? Kurosagi's or his nemesis?
