Here's a fast sum-up of what I've done in the past 6 weeks.
P1: Yoga Retreat
Site for P1 @ Palmer Road (near Shenton Way). Picture taken off the URA model.
Paranomic view of the exact spot. This is also the place where I took the photo that you see on my blog background now.
After 5 weeks of intense discussion / argument, sleepless nights and miserable Mac dinners, came the crit day!
The final model!
This is real sand and real pebbles!
Then came the 1-week Tropical Workshop which I didn't have much photos of. Most of the process was taken in video in preparation of the video presentation. So I've dumped all the content into Rachael's Acer. But I have here some pic of the 'judgement'.
The workshop coordinator Kevin Low testing "Krusi-ku". He's a very encouraging person, everything looks 'fabulous' to him. And he has very innovative ideas as well, helping us develop our design, even at 10pm! It's a pity he's here for a week only. 得不到的永远是最好的.
Our tutor Fung John Chye a.k.a. Funky John.
The masterminds behind "Krusi-ku" meaning "My Chair" in Malay - Petrina (in blue), Mel, Weilun (hidden), Chunyen, Jiarong (in tube) & Nassar (green & black).
Our design. "Wrap-it Mat". Here, Austen and Najeeb decided to have lunch on our design in front of the tutors.
'Wrap-it' = 'rapid'. Our selling point is to pack up fast when it rains. But the handle is too lay-ceh, everybody's laughing. But it was damn fun!
Now our studio looked so tropical. Loved the 'Cactus Chair'!
