This is the compilation album consisting 11 songs by the final 10 contestants and a brand new composition. Quite a decent production except that justice was not given to some whose live singing are much much better than the studio-recorded ones. Eg, 宗纬, 宥嘉 and 周定Rain.因为我相信 - 星光十强
For two whole months, I've been logging into YouTube and im.tv everyday to watch their clips. Watching and re-watching many of them. Some just sound better as I repeat.

Aska is so different when he talks, sounding like he's out of breath, and poor thing always got forced to imitate 猪哥亮 and TW DJ Dennis. Super funny! BUT! When he sings, he'll fall into this ultra miserable state and will sing till him and his listeners cry! Especially in 《听说爱情回来过》, listen for his emotional change. Damn he sounded so in tune even when he's crying! It's a pity he withdraw from the show during the top 6 level, for lying about his age. If there wasn't this saga, he may have been the champion instead of Yoga.
Yoga has a very special voice, just like what I said previously about 苏打绿's 青峰: another pure voice that just sings deep into your heart 《我爱的人》. Yogo can be so mellow in his low notes and yet so powerful at the climax 《你是我的眼》. Week after week, he performed like a magician 《Last Order》, laying out surprises that you'll never know his limits. And like Aska, you'll never find a flaw in their singing, except over-doing some gimmicks (comments from the fussy judges). They are so professional! And we are talking about a singing competition now. Overwhelmed!
Now what do we have in Singapore? Our MOST prospective idols only managed to venture into Malaysia. And the heat never last longer than a month. Why? Because our idols emerged from the phone votings, NOT professional judgement! Talent-search shows are made merely to earn the quick cash from the phone / SMS voting, and to build up the faux tense atmosphere with the IRRITATING jackpot sounds and lightings!
The local program hosts are so very boring, in fact they sounded so script-reading. CMI. Austen can do a better job. Even the judges have ran out of vocabulary. Ever since the first Project Superstar, when all was fresh and innovative, the same comments have been repeated weeks after weeks, seasons after seasons. Yawn~~~~~
