Although there's only 12 episodes, each and everyone of them are so full of events and conspiracy that calls for countless pausing & re-watching to ponder the details of the sequence/consequence of events and game rules. Plus the underlying back-story that is crafted so well that only a little of it is revealed everytime and by the end of the series it just jumps out to haunt, and makes me so looking forward to "6 seasons and a movie!"
